After installing 5.18 I get this error when my client app tries to login into the server (either service or standalone):

Error reading kbmMWCustomService.PixelsPerInch: Property PixelsPerInch does not exists (SERVER)

In 5.16 and previous versions I did not have this problem.

Found the solution. It’s a simple TDictionary list of RequestIds and callback procedures. Upon return from query/service in kbmMWTCPIPIndyMessagingClientTransport1AsyncResponse event I check RequestId against this list and, if found, execute corresponding callback procedure.

kbmMW allows me to do async queries and async service requests. Return results of all async requests are processes in kbmMWTCPIPIndyMessagingClientTransport1AsyncResponse event.

It’s easy if I have one form and one query/service. My problem is multiple forms and multiple queries/service-requests in each form.

At design time I populate FieldDefs and IndexDefs. All other settings are default. In code I have:

mt.IndexFieldNames:= ‘Age’;

It’s Delphi’s handling of Timestamp column. Both server and client use regional (local) FormatSettings to process Timestamp column, so different regions cause this error.

In a table I have TIMESTAMP column. If I read that table from the client in the same Region as server all is ok. If I read the same table where client is in the different region than server, I get error message ‘Could not parse SQL TimeStamp string’.

In my client I had:

When I add in front of it

I have table with string field containing characters with accents. When I run query from the client I get everything ok. If I call a service, read same data and return .AllData to the client, some of the accented letters loose accent. For example Š, Đ are returned as expected, but Č and Ć are both returned as letter C.

and then  populate it with my int64 values, all works fine…

I’m puzzled why it also works when arrId: TArray<integer> and not when arrId: TArray<int64>?

Another short question. In my test server I put kbmMWTCPServerTransport and it works fine with client which has kbmMWTCPIPIndyClientTransport. However If I replace client Indy transport with kbmMWTCPClientTransport (and re-connect the properties), client cannot connect to the server. I’ve tried changing different properties…[Read more]

When I try to compile server in x64 I get the message:

I would like to know when any of my clients last accessed any service defined in the server. FLastAuthorized is correctly updated with last access timestamp.
